Every year, more couples from the U.S., Australia, Germany, Singapore, and beyond choose Ho Chi Minh City for their pre-wedding photoshoot — drawn by the city's colonial architecture, golden light, and editorial-style backdrops you simply can't find at home.

But if you've never been to Vietnam, it's natural to wonder: do I need a visa? Will the team speak English? How do I pay from overseas? How much time do I actually need here?

At PHANQUOCKHAstudio, we've worked with international couples since 2016 — so we've put together everything you need to plan your trip with confidence, from visa basics to a sample 3-day itinerary.

Your Style, Your Story

Whether you’re drawn to fine art, timeless elegance, editorial fashion, or something more moody and raw, we’re here to bring your vision to life. At PHANQUOCKHAstudio, we don’t lock you into one aesthetic — instead, we take time to listen, understand your preferences, and develop a custom moodboard tailored to your vibe.

We believe your wedding photos should reflect who you are — not just what’s trending. So if you’re unsure what style suits you best, don’t worry — let’s sit down, chat (in person or online), and we’ll guide you through visual references until it feels just right....

Do You Need a Visa to Visit Vietnam?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many countries are eligible for Vietnam's e-visa, which can be applied for online before you travel, while a number of nationalities also qualify for short-term visa exemptions. We recommend checking the official Vietnam Immigration Department website for the most current requirements for your passport.

A good rule of thumb: start your visa application at least 3–4 weeks before your trip, especially if you're also coordinating travel dates with your photoshoot booking.
