Concept & Inspiration

“The Cycle of Rice” draws inspiration from the symbolic life cycle of rice – a fundamental part of Northern Vietnam’s culture and heritage. From tender sprouts and green seedlings, to golden harvest and dried straw, every stage reflects the rhythm of life, growth, and renewal.

For this project, Kha Team carefully translated this concept into every element of the elopement. The table settings mimicked the layered rice terraces of Northern Vietnam, with natural straw accents and locally-sourced flowers adding texture and authenticity. Even the smallest details, from wildflower offerings to rice stalk arrangements, were thoughtfully curated to reflect the harmony of human life with nature’s cycles.

At Ville de Mont, situated 1,600 meters above sea level, the highland setting allowed the mist to drift through the valley, creating a living poem of intimacy, serenity, and cultural resonance. Every frame captured by Kha Team was designed to convey the poetic rhythm of the mountains and the timelessness of love.
